Well, it's been an interesting year!
We started in the depths of lockdown with very few photography opportunities, but once normality returned we were quickly able to get back up and running and shoot some images again.
Many of out shoots in 2021 were long in the planning, and delayed due to Covid restrictions, so we were super pleased when we could finally get out there and shoot again.
So, in no particular order, here are 10 of our favourite images taken in 2021.
One of our favourite discoveries or 2021 was a new location we found for portrait photography.
Here is a shot we got there. Need to get back in 2022 for what would be an amazing portrait shoot.
This is dancer, Kate Byrne, taken at the Bargehouse on our dance photography shoot in November.
These two shots are from our shoot at a huge Victorian Pumping Station out past west London.
The size of the place was actually quite intimidating, so it required real focus to find the right shots.
The two shots above were taken during our shoot at Repton Boxing Club.
Shooting fast action is difficult! And these two boxers put in an immense effort to let us practice our skills in London's oldest boxing gym.
Being that close to the action was both challenging and super rewarding. The power and speed of these guys was immense.
Mixed feelings about this photo.
It was taken in the depths of lockdown when there was not much else to do, practicing techniques we'd always wanted to try but never had time for.
Bouncing ball captured with a repeating flash. Took several attempts and a bit of luck to capture this one, but had plenty of time to get it right!.
Happy with the results, but much happier we can now leave the house to take photos!
A shot from a shoot that was long planned and long delayed due to lockdown. Finally we got to shoot in two tube carriages.
We had an interesting mix of models who acted as stressed out commuters, people on their way home from a night out and a ballerina (obviously).
We were super pleased to get back to the Asylum Chapel for a post lockdown shoot.
The location never fails to inspire some great photography.
What's not to love about crumbling walls and a semi derelict chapel.
And our final favourite shot of 2021. Kate Byrne in the early summer light taken on a 1-1 portrait training session.

Nice Photos Andrew, I hope in the new year (Covid permiting) I could join you on a shoot once again ( 3 years is too long!)
